One of ECI’s greatest resources is its members. A pillar of our organization, we are proud to have E&C practitioners from industries across the globe in our community. Our new Member Spotlights are an opportunity to highlight just a few of our many great members, showcase their achievements and show our appreciation for their support of the incredible ECI community. This month, meet Carla Walloch!
“Carla Walloch currently leads Global Third-Party Risk Management as part of the Compliance team at Invenergy, LLC. Previously, she served as a Director, Legal Affairs at Teach For America, Inc. for more than 10 years where she served as a strategic legal partner to senior leaders, analyzed strategies with an eye towards identifying and evaluating risks, and achieved organizational outcomes by effectively collaborating with stakeholders on program improvements and innovations.
At Invenergy, Carla leads the implementation of the leading clean energy developer’s global third-party risk management program to optimize the management, review, response, and mitigation of all third-party due diligence requests to deliver value in business strategy and operations. While completing her MBA as part of Loyola University Chicago’s Baumhart Scholars program, a fellow professor suggested Carla pursue becoming an Ethics Academy Scholar given her career interests in sustainability and compliance.
As an Ethics Academy Scholar, Carla attended this year’s Impact conference and has continued to deepen her engagement with the ECI community by participating in the Third-Party Risk Management and Effective Whistleblower working groups. As she completes her Ethics Academy experience, Carla plans to become LPEC certified to build on her experience as a compliance and risk professional.”
